America's Premier Service Club
Exchange is an all-volunteer, national service organization for men and women who want to serve their community, develop leadership skills and enjoy new friendships. Exchange is made up of some 800 clubs and 28,000 members nationwide and is America's Premier Service Club.
Each year Exchange Club members across the country invest millions of dollars into their local communities. Every five years, members of the National Exchange Club invest over $200 million dollars toward the prevention of Child Abuse. Through our network of 100 child abuse prevention centers we have helped more than 1.6 million children and 656,689 families break the cycle of child abuse!
Sierra Pacific District
The Sierra Pacific District covers Northern California from the Pacific Ocean to the Nevada border and from the San Francisco Bay Area to the Oregon border. The members of the Sierra Pacific District are united in their service to improving lives in their communities. And having FUN as they do so! Being apart of a collaborative effort working toward a common goal builds friendships and is rewarding! Our Services page highlights the many projects we bring to our communities.

As the old man walked the beach at dawn, he noticed a young man ahead of him, picking up starfish and flinging them into the sea. Finally, catching up with the youth, he asked him why he was doing this. The young man explained that the stranded starfish would die if left until the morning sun. “But the beach goes on for miles, and there are millions of starfish,�countered the old man. “How can your effort make any difference?�The young man looked at the starfish in his hand, and threw it to safety in the waves. “It makes a difference to this one,�he said.
